Charles Holland Architects
Linked to ongoing research into experimental and utopian settlements, CHA contribute a monthly think-piece to the Royal Institute of British Architects Journal. Each piece looks at the geneology of a particular form of spatial utopian thinking, tracing its history through notable examples and suggesting ways in which they might be relevant to contemporary issues and concerns.
The columns are part historical and part speculative and each comes with an illiustration exploring the ideas in graphic and spatial form. The image above illustrates the piece on Industrial Utopias. There is a link to read this as well as all the previous columns on the Writing page.
