Charles Holland Architects

Charles is currently a Professor of Architecture at the University of Brighton. His post explores the relationship of practice to education, building bridges between industry and academia. His personal research and teaching studio focuses on regional and rural development in relation to the current housing crisis.


Charles is also the co-curator of Twins, a new series of talks based in Brighton looking at difficult alliances, strange bedfellows and new relationships.


Charles is a former Visiting Professor at Yale University and a Visiting Tutor at the Royal College of Art. He is also currently an External Examiner at Birmingham City University on their MArch course.
